Researchers at the Neuro-X Institute are conducting cutting-edge, multidisciplinary research to develop new treatments for nervous system disorders. Researchers at the Neuro-X Institute are conducting cutting-edge multidisciplinary research to develop new treatments for nervous system disorders, such as new flexible electrode systems for neurostimulation, new approaches to brain imaging leading to a new understanding of how the brain works, or the use of virtual reality to explore self-awareness and its alteration in neurodegenerative diseases or psychiatric disorders. Several activities will be offered throughout the open house, allowing the public to get a first-hand look at some of the challenges of research into the therapies of tomorrow.
