Description

The EPFL Histology Laboratory is a service offered to researchers to assist them in their projects. It provides equipment and knowledge in the field of biological tissues such as the brain, liver and heart. Histology is also called microscopic anatomy. It allows us to see the morphology of the different elements that make up living organisms and to describe them precisely. It is used for the diagnosis of various human pathologies. This activity will allow you to visit the laboratory where we carry out our work. You will discover the steps that allow us to observe under the microscope the tissues coloured by various pigments and thus to discover the cells and other structures that compose them.
