Description
Modern Construction Archives (ACM):
History is a key source of knowledge for low-carbon architectural solutions. Old inventions aimed at saving money in construction and building management are now proving useful in meeting ecological imperatives.
This booth is part of the larger exhibition presenting the projects of nearly 40 EPFL laboratories related to climate change issues. This exhibition is structured around four themes:
• Renewable energies and towards net-zero emissions
• Sustainable construction
• Transforming cities and territory
• Protection and management of natural resources
Researchers from fields as diverse as civil engineering, architecture and environmental sciences will present their work and the tools they use on a daily basis.
