How to improve wind energy efficiency?
We aim to improve our understanding of the flow phenomena involved in wind energy, such as the interaction between wind and turbines, allowing for a better planning and operation of wind farms.
Visit of WiRE Laboratory:
The visitors will get a tour of the state-of-the-art wind tunnel facility at WiRE, EPFL. They will get an introduction of how the wind tunnel operates, where different optical measurement techniques will be showcased. The tour will conclude with a brief summary of research carried out in the facility.
