Description
Observe the life cycle of Drosophila flies under a microscope and discover how scientists measure and manipulate their behavior. Find out how it is possible to link behavior and neural activity.
The workshop is organized in three steps:
- Guided observation of Drosophila flies at different development stages
- Presentation of a learning behavioral paradigm in flies
- Demonstration of the optogenetic manipulation of a group of flies
