Description
Smart Environmental Sensing in Extreme Environnements Lab (SENSE)
We deploy a new technology relying on lasers and membrane separation, allowing to measure this gas in-situ in the extreme context of polar oceans.
This booth is part of the larger exhibition presenting the projects of nearly 40 EPFL laboratories related to climate change issues. This exhibition is structured around four themes:
• Renewable energies and towards net-zero emissions
• Sustainable construction
• Transforming cities and territory
• Protection and management of natural resources
Researchers from fields as diverse as civil engineering, architecture and environmental sciences will present their work and the tools they use on a daily basis.
