Description

CHANGE Laboratory (Laboratory of Catchment Hydrology and Geomorphology): We develop mathematical models for the description and prediction of ecological, hydrological, and geomorphological processes in natural and managed ecosystems, with the goal of informing sustainable management strategies. This booth is part of the larger exhibition presenting the projects of nearly 40 EPFL laboratories related to climate change issues. This exhibition is structured around four themes: • Renewable energies and towards net-zero emissions • Sustainable construction • Transforming cities and territory • Protection and management of natural resources Researchers from fields as diverse as civil engineering, architecture and environmental sciences will present their work and the tools they use on a daily basis.
