Description

-- ONLINE REGISTRATION SOLD OUT -- Remaining places will be available at the reception desk in the BC building on the day of the event. In this activity, you will learn how intruders can obtain information about you through the wireless connection you use to connect to the Internet. They could be a passenger connected to the same Wi-Fi as you, a customer in a café connected to the same network, a colleague in the office... Through simulated environments, you'll see that simple tools are all you need to listen to the communication channel between a device and the Wi-Fi access point. Depending on the security settings of the applications, you will be able to eavesdrop on the exchanges between the participants, access the web pages they have visited, etc. You will also learn techniques to avoid this type of intrusion on your privacy. Schedule: 10h00 / 11h30 / 14h00 / 15h30 Each session lasts 1h30 Registration is required for this event. (Ticketing button) Remaining places will be available at the reception desk in the BC building on the day of the event.
