Description
The School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering (ENAC) unites three complementary disciplines in order to prepare the architects and engineers of tomorrow for the challenges of sustainable transition.
In their shared stand, the sections of architecture, civil engineering, and environmental sciences and engineering present their educational plans and the interdisciplinary approach that unites them at ENAC. The stand showcases the example of the construction project for a future building on the EPFL campus in Fribourg (Smart Living Lab), in order to highlight the importance of the combined contributions of the three disciplines -- and how this type of collaboration can facilitate innovative solutions to challenges typical of this type of construction, resulting in a more sustainable project.
